Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

The CNLBank Banking Office Manager position offers the right candidate the opportunity to exercise their entrepreneurial spirit to drive overall office results.  The Banking Office Manager is responsible for business development, sales and service management and overall management of an assigned office.  As a member of CNLBank’s management team, the Banking Office Manager is instrumental in executing deposit growth, lead generation, client and associate satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage and execute deposit growth strategy through effective lead generation, banking office assignments of prospects and cross sales opportunities and tracking of results for executive management
  •  Provide outstanding client experience and retaining clients
  • Manage office staff including banking office staffing, workflow, compliance guidelines, and new account opening process and ensuring all required documentation is received 
  • Ensure the office staff has a complete understanding of BSA, compliance, regulatory and other bank policy requirements and procedures
  • Develop and mentor banking office  associates ensuring they are adequately trained, understand their responsibilities and are aware of  skills required to assume additional job responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, coaching, and development of banking office associates.
  • Other duties and job functions may be assigned
  • Ensures BSA compliance

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent understanding of depository products and ability to match product to customer requirements
  • Strong credit and lending skills
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Proven track record in driving results
  • Extensive knowledge of banking products (treasury services, mortgage, etc.)
  • Professional demeanor and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Word, Excel and Windows software proficiency
  • Strong managerial skills including sales coaching and development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five to seven years banking experience
